The temple sacrifices were originally intended, for the Nation of Israel. So that they would be able to stand, set apart from the nations of the world, with the blessings of Yah. However, this time period ended with the captivity of Daniel around 598 B.C. Because, from this time forward, they would almost always be subject to foreign rule. A rule that would continue in one way or another, until the end time reestablishment of Israel.
For this reason, we should understand, that the daily sacrifice was literally taken away, along with Daniel in 598 B.C. This helps us to understand the following verse:
Dan 12:11 KJV And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
When in prayer on this verse, Yah spoke to me, and said, study the temple mount!
This is when I discovered that the Dome of the Rock was set up on the Temple Mount in 692 A.D.
Now when we add this up we come to:
598 + 692= 1,290 years
We can be certain that the 1,290 days in this verse, refer specifically to 1,290 years, because the day for a year principle is well established in scripture. Here is one example:
Eze 4:4 KJV Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
Eze 4:5 KJV For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
Yah said, that He told us these things, before they came to pass, so that you would know and understand that HE IS the self existent One. So that you may know, that He truly inspired the words in our Bibles, and that when all we know fails and falls apart, HE STILL IS.
This context also lets us know exactly what Yah thinks of the Dome of the Rock, which now sits on the temple mount. It stinks in His nostrils.
But, on this point, there is hope, for in the very next verse we read:
Dan 12:12 KJV Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
How can the Jews be blessed and happy, with an abomination sitting on their temple mount? It remains a sorrow of heart, every time they are forced to look upon it.
Therefore, this verse lets us know when the temple mount will be free of this abomination, at the very least. And it may even indicate the exact year, that the Temple will be built and purified. To figure out what year it is referring to, simple math will do:
692 + 1,335 = 2027
What we know for sure, is that in the year 2027, something amazing is going to happen to the temple mount. Keep your eyes open!
